Playing with Nadine, my first solo album, is a collection of twenty-six songs. Eighteen of them are my own writing - mostly humorous and satirical, sometimes poignant. Also included are my recordings of eight long-lost songs by Jake Thackray which I unearthed whilst researching his biography. They have never been released before and in most cases have remained unheard for half a century.
Nadine is the name of the guitar on the cover. She was given her name by Jake Thackray, her first owner. She came into my hands in 2023 and I play her on this album.
